Women’s safety & dignity

Support for Women Experiencing Abuse

Women who have experienced abuse deserve to be heard, treated with dignity and supported as they decide what comes next.

Our vision includes compassionate listening and advocacy for women facing domestic or intimate-partner abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, financial control, coercion or mistreatment, including mothers seeking support for themselves and their children.

We aim to help women connect with appropriate safety, shelter, counselling and specialist services, alongside opportunities to rebuild confidence and financial independence.

Why we are building this

Her potential deserves opportunity.

Some women need support to rebuild after hardship. Others have the knowledge, skills and ambition to start a business, yet face barriers to finance, networks and customers. Some face both.

Our mission is to advance safety, equality and economic opportunity for women, with particular attention to minority and underrepresented communities, through practical support, entrepreneurship and advocacy.

A Canada-based vision with global ambition. Our first step is to build partnerships and practical programs that respond to real community needs.

Three connected pathways

Support that opens possibilities.

01

Who we aim to support

Different starting points.
Equal dignity.

Our vision welcomes women from all backgrounds, with focused attention on minority and underrepresented communities facing barriers to safety and economic opportunity.

  • Women with business ideas, practical talents or existing small businesses.
  • Immigrant and refugee women building networks and navigating unfamiliar systems.
  • Women experiencing discrimination, financial exclusion or limited access to capital.
  • Women rebuilding after abuse or hardship who want support on their own terms.

Women do not need to have experienced abuse to belong in our enterprise vision. Each woman’s goals and circumstances should guide the support she chooses.

What will guide our work

Respect. Choice. Practical action.

Her voice comes first

Listen without judgement. Respect women’s choices, backgrounds, ambitions and personal boundaries.

Potential deserves a fair chance

Advocate for opportunities that recognise skills, experience and business viability alongside financial circumstances.

Support with purpose

Develop clear pathways, work with qualified specialists and be transparent about what we can offer.

“A woman’s potential is greater than the barriers placed in her way.”

The belief behind Beyond Her Boundaries

Her voice. Her future.

A listening ear.
A chance to flourish.

Our vision includes women and mothers who need someone to listen, and girls who need protection, advocacy and support when facing abuse, mistreatment, substance use or unsafe living situations.

Listening with dignity

Compassion begins with hearing a woman’s story without judgement, respecting her choices and helping her find appropriate support for herself and her family.

Giving the girl child a chance

We stand for girls facing abuse, mistreatment, substance use or unsafe living situations, alongside opportunities to learn, build confidence and discover their potential. Learn about our girls’ support vision →

Standing up for girls

You deserve to be heard.
You deserve protection.

Some girls find it difficult to speak with a teacher, social worker or someone at home. Our vision is to offer another place to turn: a compassionate listener who takes them seriously, stands beside them and helps connect them with appropriate protection and support.

Abuse & mistreatment

Standing up for girls facing sexual abuse, exploitation, neglect, emotional abuse or other mistreatment, including harm at home or while living with relatives or other caregivers.

Substance use & recovery

Supporting girls affected by drug or alcohol use with compassion, practical guidance and connections to qualified addiction and recovery services.

Safety beyond the streets

Working towards pathways from street involvement and unsafe living situations to appropriate housing, specialist support, education and stability.
